Recycled Wardrobe-When Clothes Shrink

I am, what you could call a "lobi" (as in a stingy person), because I don't throw away clothes too quick-or as I like to call myself, I am economical ;) . This means I basically recycle my wardrobe until it becomes unwearable, or my clothes go to the Vinnies collection box during my semi annual wardrobe clean.
You can imagine the heartbreak I must have had when not just one but TWO of my outfits shrank after the first few washes itself. *Sigh*
BUT, my being the lobi I am, found a way to recycle them, and the results were pretty decent, wouldn't you say?
PS- Just sharing one of the two shrunken outfits because that way I have two articles :P

The sleeve detail made it the most difficult to chuck out without giving it a second life...
This (now) blouse that I tucked into some high rise jeans and some stunner dull metallic sandals looked like this:

Yup, that is my most decent "disappointed" look for the camera (posey much?!). The dress had shrunken so short I didn't even want to photograph it as a dress without the pants!
Pinjara style earrings to match the silver vibe of the sandals. These are a gift from Delhi by my fupu dearest.

The floor must have been really interesting that day-what am I even looking at :/

Hope this inspired you to give a second chance to some shrunken clothes in your wardrobe!
